Here's a gold tip for today. Elementium ore, Carnelians and Cinderbloom.

You might be thinking right now, what's with that.

Elementium ore, my leftovers, yield Carnelians. 3 Carnelians+3Cinderbloom=1+X Inferno rubies, X being an extra proc if you are a transmute specced alchemist. Then simply cut them or list them on the AH while you still can get profit out of it.

Noblegarden? Nawww, CHILDREN'S WEEK!

Alright, did you complete the achievements you let back last year? Alright, get your coffee, soda, w/e, some sandwiches and whatever you will need. It's one week before Children's week, and you are going to make cash out of it!

Now, there are so many achievements, and you can start from anywhere.
Here's a list of what you can farm(or make money out from)!

(stolen from DjKuja  of MMOwned :3)

Small Egg: 70g/ea
Best place to farm: Dragonhawks

Northern Egg: 100g/ea
Best place to farm: Many! Choose the best

Delicious Chocolate Cake: 400g/ea
Created with Cooking. Recipe obtained from older Cooking dailies!

Tasty Cupcake: 50g/ea

Dalaran Doughnut: 50g ea
Sold in Dalaran

Dalaran Brownie: 70g/ea
Sold in Dalaran

Red Velvet Cupcake: 80g/ea

Flask of Port: 20g/ea

Mageroyal: 150g/stack
Obtained via Herbalism

Simple Flour: 10g/stack
Sold by many vendors

Mild Spices: 10g/stack
Sold by many vendors

Let's begin cooking up our goldmaking auction list.

Small Egg, farmable-Drops of every low level bird, but that's not enough is it? There's 100%++ drop chance out of the dragonhawks outside Silvermoon. If you're a skinner, that's a plus. Skin them for money.

Northern Egg. Now that's a tough one. Some say that the rocs in Sholazar Basin are the best to farm, located at roughly 62.0,30.0. But you could always try farming the birds on top of Agmar's Hammer(Or something like that, correct me if i am wrong) if you are Horde.

[Delicious Chocolate Cake] is not a lie. Drops from the outland cooking dailies. It's a rare. Lucky you if you obtain it. It's not a lie. The cake is NEVER a lie.

Requires 8 Small eggs, and if you didn't get it already, the Mageroyal prices will skyrocket as well. Farm it.

Tasty Cupcake. This is a tough one. It's a Northrend drop. Shares drop chance with the other 3 emotion foods. If you don't have it already, don't bother. If you do, make loads.

And that's enough i believe. Stock up on all the things listed, and you might as well make profit from the vendor bought items.
Also, simply keep materials for Choco Cakes. Do not make them. They do NOT stack.

Don't do Abyssal Shatter! -Stock up for 4.1

I have to say that this will be the last post until Tuesday, maybe Wednesday. Family trip to father's town :v.

As the topic says, DO NOT. DO NOT DO ABYSSAL SHATTER. Mark my words. A lot of people are doing it now, and even my little horde server is flooded with enchanting mats. It's a waste of money.

Now, about stocking up, you'll want to know that: Ore prices are rising - Herb prices are falling.
Which in result means that: Blacksmithing gear cost will rise, RARE Gems will rise, Enchanting Mats will have a small rise, with the exception of Maelstrom Crystal which will crash. You then have: Darkmoon Cards will fall, followed by Volatile Life, Mysterious Fortune Cards will fall, and the last to fall are flasks and potions.
There are some stuff that might either fall or rise, such as Transmutes(meta gems will rise, rest will stay standby) and a few other stuff I forgot.

Stock up on Gems, enchanting scrolls, belt buckles, whatever give boost to gear.
But there's just another thing you should look out. Pets.

There's an achievement coming that requires EVEN MORE of those cuddly lil creatures of yours!

That's all for this week I believe. Have a nice holiday everyone!

A useful recipe: Combine leveling, farming and gold, all together!

This is our first actual post about gold making, and I hope you like it!

Here goes...

Start a new character (Unless you have a druid with Herbalism and Mining already...)
What you want him to be, is either Druid(has Flight Forms, Travel form and even Cat form, and also doesn't have to budge in extra money for his Swift Flying form if i recall correctly) or Shaman(Ghost Wolf)
Apart from Class, you should take your time thinking about your race.
I picked Tauren, since they have faster herb gathering rates.

Now, all you need to do, is level up a bit, like, level 5 or so. That's enough. Then, plan routes, depending on the area you begun. Since you're this low, take your time questing as well. When you reach a level which you can farm Herbs and Ore without any problem, ditch them. For me, that was level 10.

Remember to turn on both Find Herbs and Find Ore.

You could create routes yourself, or find some nifty ones online. I am going to post my own Swamp of Sorrows map, check the bottom of the post.

But leveling without gear is always a problem, either way you do it. Killing or Gathering.
Every level or so, i queue up myself, and since I made a shaman, I queue as healer. The gear can be used for Elemental as well, but do not forget that you can use your Heirlooms! Heirlooms with XP bonuses (I believe) add up to the XP you gain from mining and herbalism.

Now you would say, where's the gold?
That stuff you just mined/picked is simply goldmine. Using the Auctionator I can post tons of stacks quickly, and instantly check for undercuts! Simply use your brain on this one. Also, keep these rules in mind: Ore is worth more than bars, because it can be smelt to bars, but bars can't be unsmelt to ore. For herbs that's entirely different, since there are so many herbs. Just put them up raw.

Now, if you have a scribe, you can mill all those herbs and make glyphs, and own the glyph market!

The best of all this is that your character levels up! You gain more XP (Most of the time) than monsters out there give when killed.

Last things, keep in mind that if herbs started giving TOO low XP, move to a higher tier of herbs.

Here's the link of the Swamp of Sorrows map, mainly herbs.
BLACK is the default route
RED are subroutes I sometimes take if I don't find as many herbs. In general, try to search the whole area. It isn't an area many people quest in, and has so many nodes that you will never run out!

Hello, and welcome to my gold blog!

Well, this is exciting. This is the first blog I have ever done(about gold making) and I can pretty much say I can't keep hold of myself.

So here we go, join us in this bumpy ride, as we move forward to reach the gold cap!

I would also ask you to bear the adfly ads that I use, so that I can generate some revenue.
